How we keep Talevo safe

Everything parents are told to check before handing an app to their child — answered plainly.

Content safety

Every Talevo story is generated fresh — so safety has to happen before a word is written, not after.

Filtering at generation. Story generation runs behind strict safety prompts tuned per age tier: a story written for a 3-year-old follows different rules for conflict, tension, and vocabulary than one for a 10-year-old.
A closed experience. There is no open chatbot and no free-text conversation for children. Kids read and listen; parents create and configure.
Parent controls. Parents own the child profiles, choose the age tier, and decide which learning goals and characters appear.

Privacy & data

GDPR by default. Talevo is built by Bitfuse UG, a German company based in Düsseldorf, and operates under EU data protection law for every user.
No training on family data. Your children's profiles and stories are never used to train AI models.
No photo collection. Talevo deliberately does not ask for photos of your child. Characters are built from descriptions, never from likenesses.
No selling of data. We do not sell personal data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

No ads, ever

Talevo shows no third-party advertising, contains no in-story product placement, and makes no purchase offers aimed at children. Subscriptions are managed by parents through the App Store or Google Play.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account — including all child profiles, stories, illustrations, and audio — directly in the app at any time, or by email. Step-by-step instructions are on the account deletion page.
